Too good to be true?

I caught a replay of the Dennis Prager show over the weekend.

He had on Seth Roberts, author of, "The Shangri-La Diet: The No Hunger, Eat Anything Weight Loss Plan."

Yeah, I know. I had the same reaction.

I listened to the whole hour, though, and by the end, I was intrigued. Seth Roberts is a psychologist, and he has devised a theory that a person can lower his "setpoint" for storage of body fat by breaking the flavor-calorie associations the brain has learned over the years.

His website links to a research paper discussing the theory, and it kinda makes sense.

I'm torn between skepticism and curiosity, but I'm willing to be a guinea pig.

I'll let you know how it goes. Stay tuned.
