I can't believe I'm saying this...

Among the slow-pitch softballs thrown to the candidates at tonight's Democratic "debate" was whether he/she would meet with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Cuba, Venezuela and North Korea during the first year of his/her presidency.

Obama answered yeah, sure, and Clinton answered no (not at first at least).

Of course, Clinton's answer was the correct one, and Hugh Hewitt's analysis on his show and here was that this highlighted Obama's inexperience and was a victory for Clinton.

A little later, on Hannity & Colmes, Dick Morris has a different take on the same exchange. He agreed that Hillary gave the "correct" response (i. e., the one least dangerous to America), but that Obama's "can't we all just get along" answer was the one Democratic primary voters wanted to hear.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Dick's right and Hugh's wrong on this one. Barack Hussein Obama may have scored a win tonight.

(Or maybe that's just wishful thinking -- Obama will be crushed in the general election.)
