Meh
Sorry for the lack of prose here, folks. I guess I have bit of a case of bloggus apatheticus.
I'll be back when I have something
"[T]he country does not deserve to be put in the hands of a glib and cocky know-it-all, who has accomplished absolutely nothing beyond the advancement of his own career with rhetoric, and who has for years allied himself with a succession of people who have openly expressed their hatred of America." -- Thomas Sowell

Dan,
Would making jokes about the Cubs help? I could do that. In fact, I'd be delighted to do that.
Best,
Mark
You mean the team with the best record in Major League Baseball? Those Cubs?
:-)
Dan, I didn't know that you spoke Latin! I wasn't aware that Cubs fans were capable of learning second languages.
Learn Latin? You bet, it's what we do during the World Series, as there's nothing else for a Cubs fan to do at that time since 1945.
(news would be a Packer-backer learning a first language!)
BB, most Packer fans know how to say "more beer" in about 16 languages, but not much else.
Ooh! I know how to say that one in Latin, too!

Um, does that make you a Packers fan now? I think it does. I think you said the magic irrevocable words. And we don't even have any high profile bimbos lurking around the team!
Knock Knock
Anyone here?
Hello?
Dan?
Hello?
So let's see how your little hiatus is working out for you, Dan. Now you are a Packer fan, as Ben has helpfully pointed out. You should be hearing from Packer Fan HQ any day now with instructions on where to get your secret decoder ring (when you get it, set it to "cripes hey"); I also have it on good authority that your complimentary Tiger Greene jersey is in the post.
And because you haven't done another contest during this time, I'm still the reigning "Best of the MOB" guy -- for three straight weeks now.
Hey, it's a win-win!
Where have you gone, Dan Stover, a nation turns its lonely eye to you.
